Welcome to the Live on 4 Legs Fantasy Pearl Jam League for the 2022 tour! Livefootsteps and Live on 4 Legs have teamed up to bring you this years Fantasy Pearl Jam League. Here you will find all the rules and regulations, please read through entirely to make sure you are familiar with all the ins and outs of the process; this will help you win!

Each league will start on the first date of the tour and end on the last show of 2022. If they happen to add any additional dates after September, we will readjust.

All full shows will be counted for points. One off appearances on late night television or other media outlets will not count towards the league.

Each participant will draft 14 songs. Each time the band plays a song on your team, you get points. More plays=more points. How many? Keep reading…

Each league will have a draft wherein the participants will choose their songs. Each song can only be chosen once, and once a song is taken, it is removed from the list. Draft order will be chosen at random and will be presented in a snake format - participant one picks first in round one, participant 10 picks last in round one, then first in round 2.

Of the 14 songs you will choose, 7 must be from the COMMON list which are worth 1 point each, 3 must be from the UNCOMMON list worth 3 points, 2 from the RARE list (5 points), and 2 COVERS each worth 2 points. You may pick any songs not written by the band as your Cover songs.

LOVE BOAT CAPTAIN RULE:

You may choose any common song chosen after the 2nd round as your designated “Love Boat Captain”. This song will receive an extra point per time played. You may change your LBC song once per tour leg and in-between legs should you wish.

STREAK RULE (AKA “MAMASAN RULE”):

In the event more than one of your songs are played in order (including between encores and presets), you will receive a point bonus. Each song played during the streak will be awarded a 'multiplier' by the length of the streak. (e.g. if 2 of your selected songs are played in a row, each song receives 1 extra points, 3 of your songs are played in a row, each song receives 2 extra points, if 4 of your songs are played in a row, each receives 3 additional points and so on).

WAIVER WIRE:

You may exchange songs on your list for ones that are “free agents” (not on anyone’s list) between every show with with exception of back-to-back nights. You must keep the 7:3:2:2 ratio before every show. Your transactions must be submitted by 3PM (in that timezone) for the current show on that day. First dibs at waiver claims will go to the team with the lowest point total in order from league’s worst to best.

TRADES:

You may trade songs with other participants at any time. Trades must be requested and approved by BOTH participants by 3PM of that day’s show to be entered in time. You MUST also keep the ratio (see above) at all times. Failure to do so will forfeit that shows and any subsquent shows you fail to keep the required ratio.

STAKES:

As long as the group agrees on it, there will be a $20 buy-in for the league. It will be split amongst leg winners and the overall winner. Randy from LO4L will also buy some little pieces of merch while hitting shows that I can add in for each group.

Lastly, have fun! No complaining, no trying to stiff folks on trades. Please be active in this, the more active you are and the more competitive the league is, the more fun it is for everyone. It’s great to finally have a tour after 2 years! Times are good right now!
